Electricity:

The Resort is completely off of the electrical grid therefore we have to produce all the power needed.  Because of this we do our best not to run any appliances that use alot of energy. (Coffee makers with a burner, electric frying pans, microwaves, crock pots, heaters, etc.)  If you need to use extra power in our cabins (beyond normal) please have a conversation with us and we will do whatever we can to accommodate you.

All the water that goes down the drains or toilets must be hauled away to Smith for disposal.  This is to protect our beautiful lake.  In order for us to keep our prices reasonable we ask everyone to be as conservative as possible with water.  This means flushing the toilet only when necessary, and just using the least amout of water possible.

The Resort does have it’s own water well and we have tested the water every month for 11 years and it’s always been safe to consume.  It is well water though and can have a small oder at times.  

Things Included in the cabins:

• Towels and Face clothes (not for 2020)
• Dish Towels and Dish Clothes  (not for 2020)
• Hand Soap and Dish Soap
• And of Course! Toilet Paper
• All cooking and Eating essentials 

Things to bring:

• Your comfy Bedding and Pillows
• Any cooking tools that you can’t live without (talk to the staff if these tools need electricity to operate)
• Food and Water (if you don’t want to drink well water)
• Bug Spray & Sun Screen
• A good book and anything else that you would like to do while visiting.
• Any Linens you will need like face clothes, hand towels, towels, dish clothes and dish towels. (We normally supply linen but not for 2020)
