Directions to Anchor Inn Resort (West Fawcett Lake)

We are located 2 1/2 hours North of Edmonton, Alberta. Up Highway #44 to 2A through to Smith, Alberta.

• First find your way to Smith, Alberta
• Once you are in Smith you can fill up your camping units with Municipal water and dump your tanks as well if needed.  The Anchor Inn Resort does not sell fishing licenses so that can be picked up at the Gas station in Smith as well.

The Anchor Inn Resort Store contains:

– General food and supplies                                                            Google Map Directions

– Bait (frozen and live)

– Fishing Supplies

– Ice cream, snacks and treats

– Cigarettes and gum

– Some camping supplies & toiletries

– Odd things forgotten or needed

– Firewood (very reasonable price)

– Ice & Water

We take Visa, MasterCard, Debit and Cash

Once you are ready to leave Smith:

• Continue to drive straight through Smith
• You will go over a single lane bridge over the Athabasca River
• You will climb a big hill
• Once at the top of the hill you will see East Fawcett Rd.  DONT TAKE THIS!
• Continue for one more Km until you see the “West Fawcett Lake Road”  WEST IS BEST!
• Turn onto West Fawcett Lake Road and follow for 13 km
• Any camping signs you see, follow them in the Resort.
• Please come and check in at the Resort Store so that we can get you started on your holiday. :):)
